- I love to travel. A great deal comes from the wonderful homes I lived so far. Born in Wangen im Allgaeu with a marvelous view of the Alps - I grew up in Bamberg an Unesco World Heritage with excellent beer tradition - I finished my studies with Master of Arts in Mathematics at UCSB in Santa Barbara, California where I just lived one block off the beach, sharing my apartment with an American and two Chinese students and later with a French student - Back to Germany I started teaching in Bremen. Bremen is a big city as well as a village. At the same time it is open for the world trade since centuries. That makes it a wonderful place for people who dream of the whole world.
